Nike drops the black air penny 1/2 (half) cent inspired by Tim Duncan’s 1998 Nike air total foamposite max. Black is applied to the foamposite material which adds a futuristic feel to the shoe, with a detailed translucent swoosh, black to the rest of the bottom and then finished off with an icy clear outsole. The signature Lil penny silhouette are branded on the heel tags and a portrait hologram found on the sole. The light grey insole features a cartoon graphic of Lil Penny in a black cowboy hat. The 1/2 Cent name takes its inspiration from Lil Penny’s jersey number.
